How to Check Item Stock & Price Using the emart MY App
Introduction
Sometimes when shopping, it can be difficult to know whether an item is available or what the latest price is. The emart MY App provides a quick and easy way to check real-time stock availability and product pricing directly from your phone.
This tutorial explains how to use the Scan & Search feature in the app.
Step 1: Open the emart MY App
Launch the emart MY App on your smartphone.
Once the app is open, you will see the main home screen with various menu options and promotions.
Step 2: Select Your Store Location
Before searching for products, you need to choose the correct store location.
Tap the location selector at the top of the app.
Enable GPS if prompted.
Choose your preferred emart branch or nearby store location from the list.
Selecting the correct location ensures the app shows accurate stock availability and pricing for that specific store.
Step 3: Tap the “Scan” Button
On the main menu, tap the red “Scan” button located at the bottom center of the screen.
This feature allows you to:
Scan a product barcode, or
Search for a product manually
Step 4: Search for the Product
You can find products in two ways:
Option A — Scan the Barcode
Use your phone camera to scan the barcode of the product.
Option B — Search Manually
Type the product name into the search bar.
Example shown in the tutorial:
“EMART 3IN1 CHOCOLATE MALT 35GX15’S”
After entering the product name, select the matching item from the search results.
Step 5: View Real-Time Stock and Price Information
Once the product is selected, the app will display:
Product name
Current price
Stock availability
Available branches
Stock levels for each branch
Example stock indicators may include:
High
Medium
Available
This information is updated in real time, helping customers quickly identify which branch has the item in stock.
